Hope Therapy is a nonprofit organization which operates exclusively on individual and corporate donations, grants, fundraising events and rider fees. In order to keep fees affordable for our riders and their families. We do have limited scholarship help available for those who need assistance.

The funds to cover the operating costs of Hope Therapy come from people like you who show interest in our work. We depend largely on regular contributors, many of whom also give their time. Our annual budget is used primarily to care for our 10 therapy horses, maintenance of grounds, barns and riding arena, payroll and insurance. In addition our Center is a paying member of NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) which provides education and training programs and establishes safety standards for therapeutic riding.

Hope Therapy will soon be a 501 (c)(3) organization. When this takes place all contributions will be tax deductible from the donor's taxable income.

General Donations
These donations are vital in bridging the gap between rider fees and the actual cost of the overall program. They help with the feeding and care of our horses, maintenance of our facility, payroll and other operating expenses.
